My New Friend Dennis- he's a fiesty little guy!

We are now in the middle of my first (pretty bad) hurricane. Well, it is kinda passing by us, but really it is so big that we are getting alot of wind anyway. Last night was the wildest night ever. I didn't get to sleep until about 4:30am. Mostly because I thought the tree outside my window was going to collapse on me if I went to sleep. I could hear it ( and all the other trees) moaning and cracking all night... let alone the rain that I thought was going to come thru the roof. Everything was so loud and there was no where to go to escape the noise... so I just layed there wide awake all night. Grrrrrrr! Anyway, so, this morning when I woke up we realised that the loud wind we heard was actually a small Tornado blowing right thru our park! Suddenley it all made very scary sense. All I can say is it is a good thing I didn't know what it was last night, I probably would have freaked out just a lil'. So today most of the day was spent helping my dad clean up the park. There was a tree down across the street and branches were everywhere.Honestly, its kinda like a warzone down here. Even when you're driving on the streets there isn't very many cars out (compared to usual) and there are trees and branches all over the road. Who knew a little wind could do all that damage?! You can't turn on the TV without seeing something about either Dennis or London. It's kinda got me a little bit scared. I mean if I didn't know God was in complete control I would probably be losing my mind with everything going on around this world. I have certainly had my faith in God tested alot this week, but at least now I know exactly who to go to for comfort whenever I feel my world crashing down. God my protector and comforter, you deserve all my praise!
