Go into Gods Camp!

This is just a little something (or a big something for me) that God showed me today during my quiet time with him today.
Jesus has said: " Give to anyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to other what you would have them do to you." - Luke 6:30-31
So, therefore.... Why do we sing the song "I went to the enemies camp, and I took back what he stole from me"? Why are we going down into the enemies camp? Everything that the enemy has stolen from us, he can have! I think a lot of the time he might steal these things to lure us down into his camp.
But is it worth it?
Everything that the enema can steal, Jesus can return back to us in full. Anything we need or that is worth having comes from God and anything that Satan steals from us can be given back to us ten times more from God.
The point is, Jesus went down into the enemies camp once and defeated the enemy once and for all, so why are we still going down there? How about we stay out of the enemies camp and allow God (who is much stronger than us and satan) to go down in there and throw the devil a beating! If the devil has stolen something very important from you, then go to Jesus and he will restore to you everything that was stolen. Don't waste all your time fighting with satan. We should try to spend most of our time in the presence of the Lord. God will fill us up so that we will be strong enough to fight off satans attacks, but really, satan is already defeated anyway.
So, if satan has stolen some things from you, than chances are you aren't in any state to be fighting, so first go to God and tell him what satan has taken from you and let him deal with satan, to get it back. Guaranteed The Lord will fill you up with more than you had in the first place. So, get out of the enemies camp and get into the Lords camp. ( it's like reverse psychology on the devil, hehehe!).

-->Birds have the right of way-->

Ok so, today my father and brother and I were arriving at church and the parking guy directed us into the gravel part of the parking lot. We ended up parking beside this squared off area in the middle of the gravel field. There were these four pylons and caution tap all squared off with this one little bird sitting in the middle. The bird was peeping constantly, but staying in that one spot. At first I thought that the bird must have a Broken wing or something, but I thought, why whould they go thru all of the hooplaw with the pylons and everything, they could just move him off to the side. But as I looked closer I saw that this bird was protecting three little eggs!! It was so amazing and sweet. She was peeping her little heart out at us telling us to stay away from her babies! She had layed them right there in the middle of the parking lot. Then I noticed another of the same kind of bird on the other side of my car. I thought maybe it was another one nesting too, but it was shaking its feathers up in the air wildly... when I walked closer it ran a little farther away and did it again. I followed it a little farther then someone said that this bird was the father bird trying to keep our attention off of the mother and their lil' chicks. That was the sweetest thing ever, although it didn't really keep peoples attention off of the mother, she might as well have been in a zoo the way people were walking by her little boxed off area and stopping to look. The little cuties! That made my day!!

Things you'll hear and see in Florida, but not in Canada.

There are some very prominent differences I have noticed in my first couple of weeks down here that have left me pondering " I don't think I'm in Kansas anymore toto!". Like the other day I was driving up the road, comming back from taking my sister to work. I was cruising along at about 40miles in a 35m/h zone when all of a sudden these two cops jump out into the middle of the road in front of the car baside me, with a speed gun in hand forcing the pour fellow to slam on his brakes to avoid hitting them. They got him to pull into a parking lot so they could give him a speeding ticket. Thankfully they didn't seem to notice me flying past them. Thing's like that tend to make you wonder, If a police man enforces rules like speed limits does that exempt him from other rules like no j-walking. Apparently. And another thing, the other day some cops down in Miami shot a guy dead, just because he stole a car and ran into a 7 Eleven... the man wasn't armed, there wasn't even a back exit to the store and THEY HAD TAZERS!! I mean does a guy deserve to be killed just because for some reason or another he stole a car... I don't think so. They're all wound up so tight down here that even if they stop you for speeding they're yelling at you like you robbed a bank.
You also hear about some funny things too. Like the traffic reports, up in Canada you hear about maybe a fender bender on main street or to avoid this road because of slow moving traffic. Down here they don't even really report about slow traffic, because at 5:00 pm it is a given that the traffic will be crawling. No no, the reports here are like...
"Please avoid Flamingo avenue north bound lane, because there is a car on fire."
or
"the police have shut off west 63rd street because of a domestic dispute in the area"
or (my personal favorite)
"Please be careful while driving along the south bound 441, because THERE IS A PEDESTRIAN WALKING ALONG THE SIDE OF THE ROAD!!".
I mean, COME ON!!! With all the things happening down here they feel compelled to report about every hitch-hiker there is the whole length of the highway. Bunch of goofs! I mean if someone wants to risk their life by taking a stroll along a highway where cars are flying past their shirtsleaves at 200 miles an hour than they should be able to do that without it being broadcast over the radio, right?
Anyway... I guess there are alot of things for me to get used to down here, but until I am, every day will be an adventure that's for sure!!

I got a Job!!! YaY!!

Hey Everyone! Great news... I got a job! Yay! Money for me!! I am starting next saturday at the home of an elderley couple. They are both pretty old and need someone to look after them. I will be working only saturdays and sunday nights ( just two days a week) and I'll be getting paid $225.00 every week!! ... that's almost more than I made at the Slave- Easy and I worked my butt off there!! There's only one catch... apparently the old lady is a real crank, so please pray for the Lord to give me patience and for her to be nice to me by some miracle!

My First (sort of) Hurricane

Today we are getting my first ever hurricane... well, it is only the outside of a hurricane (it's passing by us). It isn't really as exciting as I thought it would be, not at all like it is on TV (no trailers or trees flying by and whatnot). Then again those ones are usually bigger than this. But still it is quite windy and it's raining constantly. It's kinda like a windy rain storm in Canada except alot warmer! There are some baby ducks in the lake beside my house and the mother usually leads them out of the lake to play in the puddles on days like today. They are soooo cute and fuzzy. They are still a little bit yellow and they walk in a straight line behind their mom, it's like a story book. Well, almost, see every time we see them we count them to see how many there are. Unfortunatley they lose some sometimes. They started out with 19 baby duckies and now I think they're closer to 11 (we think the turtles or crocodiles must have got em'. STUPID CROC'S!!!!). I think I might be going to south beach tonight with my sister... WE GONNA GET OUR GROOVE ON;);) She gets paid today, which is almost as exciting for me as it is for her! I love it when she gets paid, cause then we both can go shopping! I'm going to try to put on fake eye lashes today. My sister has some left over from her prom. I want to see how they look ( and I don't mean full on drag queen eyelashes, just nice little ones to enhance my natural beauty!:P). Anyways... I'm looking for Kelly Clarkson tickets right now. She's comming to Hollywood in July!! I'm sooo excited. We never get big stars up in Canada. There are all kinds of good concerts comming up, I hope I can get good seats. Well, I'm pretty sure I've bored the life out of enough of you today... I know I'm bored!!

Another Day in Paridise

Hello there all!! I heven't wrote many blogs these past couple of weeks... mostly because there isn't much to write about. I DON'T REALLY HAVE AN INTERESTING LIFE!!! hehe..jk. Although, the other day I saw something you would never see in St. George NB... I saw 'Air Force One' (the plane.. not the movie, smarta**!). It was so cool and it was HUGE!! and there was a big Military plane right beside it. The president was in Fort Lauderdale for some sort of world leaders summit.. or something like that. I saw his motorcade too. It was awesome ... like seeing royalty or something. I love seeing things like that. Other than that there isn't much going on down here lately. I am getting lots of sleep and playing taxi to my working mother and sister, but other than that no new developments. I'll keep y'all posted if anything more exciting than this happens. Otherwise you'll just have to keep reading my boring entries about how tanned I'm getting or about what my favorite things in life are, YAWN!!!! n e way... peace out!

Thoughts from God

These are some thoughts that God gave to me during my quiet times the last couple of days. God is Amazing!! ( I know it's a little long, but trust me ,take the time to read it...God explaines it in a really cool way!)

Light and Darkness

Right now it seems that this whole world is in darkness, except for a few lights here and there where the Christians are. There are small lights and big lights each with their own group of followers or people touched by God because of the seeds planted by these Christians. They follow until they are able to glow themselves without being snuffed out by the darkness. The ones that are closer to the light stay there longer (for example: An evangelists supporting pastors) than the ones on the outside. The ones on the outside break of quicker, some because they were just tagging along anyway and others to start their own ministry.
All of these lights try to grow and grow sometimes getting together to form larger light to expose more darkness. Hopefully one day before the Lord returns in fullness, if everyone does their job, then we may see most of this earth covered by the light.
In the darkness there is destruction everywhere ( because satan comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy). It is like a building has fallen. There are people in the wreckage. some are dead, some struggling, some know that there is a light because they have been in it before, but have turned away.
The ones who are completely dead are burried down so deep, in such a dark place, that the light can't get to them.
The ones who are struggling struggle not because they know that there is a light, but simply because they refuse to die and because they at least have a small hope that there might be someone or something out there to rescue them.
The ones who have been in the light before stand on the top of the rubble yelling, screaming, and pleading with the other lights asking them to come over and shine their light on them in hopes that their light will once again be lit. Some of these struggling ones realise on their own that God is and was the one who can light their flame. So they ask Him and He always lights their flame again, because they asked for forgiveness for walking away and asked him to light their path again.
There are also some other people who have found their way to the top of the rubble and have started out walking thru the rubble on a determined march. They help other struggling ones out of the rubble asking them to join in their march. They believe that their own (invented) "gods" have helped them out of the rubble, so they march to spread their own word. They believe that just getting out of the rubble is good enough and that their "gods" are the higher power that will guide them. Little do they know that their "gods"are in darkness as well as them, so they are really marching into nothingness for no reason. In the end they will be burned up with the rest of the darkness. They need to realise that the whole purpose in this earth is to get the light and spread it, but instead they are only worried that their Fickle followers, because remember their followers are the ones who just wanted to be rescued. They didn't care by who or how, they just wanted to live.

Once people have their flames lit they have God from above encouraging them saying:
"go this way... go that way.... there is someone over here who needs you...rescue this person over here... they are ready... tell this person that there is a light.... give this person a hope".Thus what the lights have to do is allow God to guide them thru the rubble to the "Lost souls". Their whole purpose is to spread the light to every darkened corner.
There are still things in the lightened peoples way, just the same as in the dark, except now they have a light to see where they are going. All they can do is try to spread the light to the dark people until The Day.....

There will come a day when God tells his Son to shine His light from Himself in the sky. On that day the night (or darkness) will become light and all of the destruction will be revealed. Each man will see the destruction that he caused. For some the destruction will be small, because they allowed God to light their Light and they walked away from the darkness of destruction. However, for some the destruction will be great.... so great that the destruction is all they are left with.
All who have kept their light burning will be taken into the sky with Jesus and will be given crowns. All who did not allow the light in will be lift with nothing but the rubble that they caused.

Then will come the fire...
God will burn up everything except those with the crowns. All of the darkness will be consumed by fire. If what each crowned person has done on earth survives then each will get a reward according to how much of what they have done is still standing after the fire. Some will get nothing except their crowns, because although their light was lit, they themselves helped no one else to light their flames... they simply concerned themselves with worthless (flamable) duties.

- Don't concern yourself with destractions from this world, only concern yourself with rescuing others from the fire.
In the end God and all the "Saints" will walk into Glory, leaving behind once and for all the burning pit of darkness. They will walk into Heaven, with a River of Life and Streets of Gold and beautiful mansions. There they will have no worries and no destruction ever again for eternity!!!

"The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out"!!!
